Best PhotoTechnical Data This photo has an F-stop of 5, a shutter speed of 1/80 and the ISO is 100. This photo captures the uniqueness of the sock. The circular shape that the feet make, makes it appealing the audience. I tried to get the picture from the very middle to make the picture look a little symmetrical. Other PhotosSummary
In this photo assignment, I had the chance to take a picture of my friends and my brother getting ready to go to our school Homecoming. In some of these pictures I tried to get some peoples personality. The part I enjoyed the most was the environment and how everyone was talking with each other and it wasn't weird to take pictures of people. The hardest thing was controlling the brightness of the pictures because we were outside and the light kept changing because of the clouds.

Best PhotoTechnical Data This photo has an F-stop of 5.6, a shutter speed of 1/100 and the ISO is 100. To make this photo seem like you're seeing what the dog is seeing, I had to crouch down right next to him and focus on him. I didn't photoshop this picture because I felt like it didn't need much. Summary
In this photo assignment, I used manual mode to perfect my camera usage ability. I liked taking pictures of my dog because he's cute and he didn't move at all. I had a hard time getting the right balance in the picture but once I got used to it, it became easier. In this assignment I was to take the picture of a car and photoshop it to make the background less distracting. In this assignment I learned about crops, cloning, selection tool, levels, and layers. For my second picture I used a picture of a student and cropped and filled the background blue. BeforeAfterBest PhotoTechnical Data This photo has an F-stop of 22.0, a shutter speed of 1/15 and the ISO is 100. To make this photo have the motion blur in the background, I had to pan with her so she would be in focus while the background is blurred. In this picture, I only cropped the image. 5 Other Good PhotosSummary
In this photo assignment I learned how to set the camera properly to make the background have a motion blur. I had a hard time making the person in focus while the background has motion blur. I got a couple of photos that were focussed so those are the ones you're seeing. In this assignment, I learned to use filters, guides, resizing the canvas, threshold dialog, and moving a layer. I was to take an image and turn it into something that used all of these things. Original Photos
In this assignment I was able to properly use photoshop to make these pictures. After this first picture I made I new how to then edit and make the other pop art. In the second picture I decided to do only two colors to emphasize the shirt and what the shirt stands for. I also tried to choose two different colors to get more familiar with the different colors.
Shutter SpeedIn image one, you can see that the water is a little fuzzy because of the motion. That's because it has a slow shutter speed. The last picture is very different than the first one because the shutter speed is fast so it freezes the water and make it look still. ApertureIn my first picture, I had an f-stop of 22. This made the picture have a bigger depth of field so you're able to see what's in the background. In my final picture I had an f-stop of 5. This allows me to have a shallow depth of field so it concentrates on one specific object. What I Learned From This Assignment1. A fast shutter speed stops movement and allows less light to pass through.
2. A slow shutter speed blurs the movement and allows more light to pass through. 3. A large aperture has a short depth of field and allows more light to pass through. 4. A small aperture has a large depth of field and allows less light to pass through. For my first shooting assignment, I will be taking MOTION pictures. I plan on taking pictures of my girlfriend running in her race for cross country. I hope to capture the quickness of her running with the motion blur in the background of her. Here are a couple of pictures that I'd like to imitate. These pictures represent motion because it shows that something is moving. In these pictures, the background is the thing that has a motion blur because the photographer is moving/focussing on the runner.
PatternColorSymmetryFramingPerspectiveSpaceDepth of FieldLinesTextureRule of 3rdsBalanceIn the assignment of composition photography, I learned the basic ways of taking photos. In this assignment, I was assigned to take different photos to cover the aspects of composition photography. Composition photography includes balance, the rule of 3rds, texture, lines, depth of field, space, perspective, framing, color, symmetry and pattern. All of these things help make pictures look appealing and good. My favorite part of the composition essay would be the freedom of taking the pictures we want to and interpreting the pictures in our own ways. I had the most fun taking the pictures of my dog because I got him to do what I wanted him to do and had great lighting and timing to take the pictures.
